- ESR 2: Discovery of potent modulators of ERAP/IRAP by fragment-based drug discovery or Kinetic Target guided synthesis
Recruiting Institution: University of Lille, FR PhD institution: University of Lille, FR |
Supervisor: Prof. Rebecca Deprez-Poulain |
Project Description An ESR position is available to work on the medicinal chemistry of ERAP inhibitors in the environment of the Drug discovery laboratory M2SV (www.deprezlab.fr), Lille, France. The M2SV is part of large world-class research institutes, the University of Lille hospital campus, the INSERM and the Institut Pasteur de Lille with access to a large array of the art core facilities, carrying out fundamental and applied research. The ESR will work in the M2SV team led by Pr R. Deprez-Poulain. Fragment-based drug-discovery (FBDD) and kinetic target guided synthesis (KTGS) are innovative strategies to discover hits and leads. To provide novel tools for basic research & drug discovery, the ESR will identify new chemical templates of ERAP inhibitors; screen a collection of fragments optimise hits by fragment linking or growing and KTGS. |
